The edition consists of 135 copies numbered as follows: 5 with Roman numbering impressed on Richard de Bas vat paper, 130 with Arabic numbering printed on Zerkall paper. The original etching by Guido Strazza, drawn at the Cristini Chalcography in Verona.

Insights
This typographic edition of Carnival comes out with the consent of Lucrezia Francavilla, owner of the rights on the works of Corrado Alvaro, and is signed by the artist; by Sandro Bortone is the note that follows the text. The Carnival story was published by "La Stampa" on January 19, 1934. A few months later, after being retouched, it appears in "Il Messaggero" with the title La festa borghese. In 1940 the story was included in Alvaro's work Incontri d'amore. This is the ninth title of the “The cards of the sky” series.
