Insights
Entitled Graphie, each piece is composed in a different way and with a different chromatic range. Several examples of engravings are presented while the book is always identical.
The original prints entitled "Graphie" are born from a pair of etched zinc plates that measure 20 x 50 cm each. Each plate bears signs / writings
different.

"I wanted to give the traditional etching technique a character of uniqueness by inking, juxtaposing and printing the two plates with different methods, in order to allow each sheet, uniqueness: a sort of dialogue, a different, variable writing and unique in each example.
From a technical point of view, each piece has had several press passes. In fact, the matrices have been inked both by chalcography, and by woodcut and dry, in some specimens also on the back of the sheet itself.
I chose the black color, inking with tarlatan, contrasted by the white color, as a result of the dry printing and flanked by the gold color, instead spread on the plate by means of the roller.
The intent is to give the work preciousness and light by favoring an interminable dialogue, possible for the pair (of slabs). "
