  • He was born in Catania on March 30, 1959. He completed his studies of Architecture in Palermo, where he currently resides, earning his degree in 1983. The start of the artistic activity is marked by the interest in engraving techniques that he begins to practice in 1985. He attended courses in chalcography and lithography at the Raffaello Academy in Urbino and in 1987 his first solo exhibition was set up by the Galleria Tasso in Bergamo. He is present in all editions of Bagnacavallo's "Repertory of Italian engravers" and articles on his activity have appeared in the main sector magazines. Since 1995 he has also dedicated himself to Ex Libris, participating in the most important national and international exhibitions. He collaborates with several publishers illustrating book covers and art editions. Since 1998 his works have been listed in the catalogs of the Prandi Library in Reggio Emilia and recently some of his etchings have been acquired at the Albertina Picture Gallery in Vienna. It has an intense exhibition activity and has recently exhibited at the Guglielmo II Monumental Complex in Monreale on the occasion of the XXI National Way of the Italian Confraternities. Last in chronological order is the personal exhibition at the Elle Arte gallery in Palermo. Texts, reviews and articles have been written for the artist by prestigious Italian critics and journalists.
